There is some great wading to be done in Shawmut.
But, that leaves a lot of the river untouched and unexplored.
Some of the best fishing lies downstream
and is not accessible while wading.
We can help!

Fly Fishing Only will Drive your car to the take out point for you.

All you have to do is show up at our door during normal hours of operation and one of us will ride with you to the Shawmut Launch Site. We will wait until you unload your canoe, point out a couple of land marks for you and then drive your vehicle to the Fairfield Town Landing. It will be waiting for you when you get there.

Just remember to bring a spare key so we can lock your vehicle
with your keys inside.

Yes, we have insurance which covers your
vehicle while we are driving it.

No, our insurance doesn't cover your vehicle
should someone break into it.

And, last but not least there is a cost associated with this service.
We do charge $10.00.

The trip from Shawmut during normal river flows does not involve any serious fast water, and takes about 45 minutes to an hour if you don't fish or stop to watch the Eagles.
