This years class, 2007, will again be held at Evergreen Campgrounds in Solon. The
class will be held on July 28th and 29th. Instruction will be provided
by Jim Rusher an accomplished Spey Caster and Instructor.
The cost of the class is $250.00 which includes one night's lodging at Evergreen. Meals are available from the restaurant at the campground or you may bring your own food. Rods and reels are provided if needed or you can bring your own gear. Class start at 9:00am each day.
The videos below were taken at our first Spey Casting class. The 1st video starts with the wrap-up of a Single Spey Cast review and finishes with the introduction to the Double Spey. The 2nd was taken just after class and in it Jim Rusher shares his views on selecting a Spey Rod for use here in Maine.
